Denis ist unser Künstlerkind. Er malt (schon seit er zarte 12 Monate alt ist) die fantastischsten Bilder und ich habe ihm versprochen, sie des öfteren zu fotografieren und Euch zu zeigen. Sein Stil ist unverkennbar - größtenteils skizziert er mit Bleistift oder Kohle und mit wenigen Strichen kann er winzige Details und Gesichtsausdrücke perfekt darstellen.
Und so war es natürlich ein großes Highlight für ihn als er beim diesjährigen IKEA-Malwettbewerb mit seinem Bild unter die besten 10 platziert wurde.

PS.: leider müsst Ihr Euch diesmal mit einem Handyfoto zufrieden geben. Meine Kamera nehm ich normalerweise nicht zum Shoppen mit ;-)
Denis is an artist. Since he is 12 months old he draws the most amazing pictures. I promised him that I would photograph and show them to you every now and then. He loves to draw with pencil or coal and gives the perfect character and expression to faces, animals and even machines with the tiniest quick lines. So it was a huge highlight for him when he got the letter telling him that he was placed in the best 10 of this years IKEA-drawing-competition. Denis darling - I am incredibly proud of you!!! <3
