Today I went to a bookshop. To buy a book for my mum's birthday tomorrow... Well, I then bought a book for myself (the time travellers wife) and for my boys too. And I am already hoping my mum will let me borrow the one I got her (the sequel to "chocolat")as soon as she has finished it. I just can't help it - when I see and smell books I have to have them. And when I borrow a book and like it I can't give it back. I end up buying it and giving the new one to the owner of the old one... Anyway my cousin made me a wonderful present with this beautiful ancient hand-crafted photo album - it dates back to around 1850 and was filled with all these wonderful old photographs... I can't wait to fill it with ones of my own children and who knows maybe in 150years time someone will find it at a flea market and wonder about the people on those photos too...

ReplyDeleteHab dich bei Mina gefunden und bin erst ziemlich spät drauf gekommen, mit welcher Siegrid ich es hier zu tun habe! Echt lustig, dich hier wieder zu treffen. Nach und nach hab ich mit deinen Bildern von den Jungs und was du geschrieben hast, gecheckt, das du ja - ja - eben- die Siegrid bist, die ich kenne!
Deine Vorliebe für Bücher teile ich mit dir. Ich lese einen 600 Schinken mittlerweile schon an einem Tag- aber das nur, wenn ich mal krank bin...ich sollte mich im Guinessbuch der Rekorde bewerben.. ;)
Echt tolle Bilder hast du in deinem Blog! Blogge ja selbst auch, bin aber nicht so ein Profi, wie die Mina und mach es auch nicht "vollzeitig" ;)
