Winterchildren

As explained in Autumn our fabulous dance teacher of our local music school asked me to take photos of her classes during every season for the big show at the end of the school year. Today we finally had enough snow to go ahead with the winter shoot. Unfortunately not many kids of this group were available but we had a real fun afternoon anyway and managed plenty of photos before the blizzard nearly blew us off the lake!
Thank you so much to Ms. Shabani for putting so much energy and personal time into this project and thanks to the kids for putting up with the cold and storm - You guys were GREAT!!!

Wie bereits im Herbst erklärt, hat mich unsere brillante Tanzlehrerin der Musikschule gebeten, Ihre Schüler/innen zu jeder Jahreszeit zu fotografieren. Diese Bilder werden dann beim Tanzmatineé am Ende dieses Schuljahres eingeblendet werden. Heute hatten wir endlich genug Schnee um unsere Winterfotos zu machen. Leider hatten nicht viele Kinder dieser Gruppe Zeit aber wir hatten dennoch einen Riesenspass im Schnee auf dem See und konnten einiges fotografieren bevor uns ein ziemlich heftiger Schneesturm fast vom See wehte! 

Ein RIESIGES DANKESCHÖN an Frau Shabani für all die Energie, Freude und Freizeit die sie in dieses Projekt steckt und Danke an all die fantastischen Kids für's mitmachen trotz Wind und Wetter - Ihr wart alle großartig!!!

Day29: Hot-Dog

Okay okay okay - this actually happened today.... Sorry but Fridays are so busy I don't usually have time to shoot much! So this dog ran over the frozen lake - and I had like one second to take a photo. So apologies for it not being a very artistic shot but I had to show you - can you believe it is wearing a purple jumper??? Must be the trendiest dog alive I guess... :)

Day 28: Spring feelings...

...at least inside the house. Everywhere outside is covered under a thick blanket of fluffy white snow. And as much as we love sledging and ice skating I am in need for spring now. Fresh greens and rays of sunlight... that's what I dream of nowadays! So it was a lovely surprise to see the buds of my orchid turn into such gorgeous flowers!

Day 27: a new location?

This old hut has been on my mind for a shoot-location for quite a few years now... I have never used it yet but am hoping to do so very soon!!!

Seit ein paar Jahren spukt mir das "Brechlbad" schon als Location im Kopf herum. Bis jetzt hab ich noch nie dort fotografiert - sollte sich aber schnellstens ändern!!! Ich hoffe ich hab bald die Möglichkeit es mal "auszuprobieren" - Interessenten bitte melden ;-)

Day 26: Happy Birthday Sabine!

It's my darling friend Sabine's birthday today. I won't say which one though - you wouldn't believe it anyway. Isn't she absolutely stunning - it has to be said that she isn't wearing the tiniest bit of make up...

Meine liebe Freundin Sabine hat heute Geburtstag. Ich verrat Euch nicht, wie jung sie geworden ist - ihr würdet's mir sowieso nicht glauben!!! Ist sie nicht UNGLAUBLICH schön???

Und das ohne das winzigste Bisschen Make up - macht mich schon ein bisschen neidisch ;-)

Day 25: Europes longest castle

Did you know that I live about 15mins drive away from Europe's longest castle - The castle of Burghausen? Very proud of it and whenever I drive past it amazes me!!!

Wir leben ca 15min Fahrt entfernt von Europa's längster Burg - die Burg von Burghausen!!! Und sind sehr stolz drauf ;-) Ich kann mich eigentlich nie an ihr satt sehen...
